Girls youth football was a success
The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) took the opportunity to assess the girls youth football teams that comprised of (U9) (U11) and (U14) divisions at the T & T Tatem Middle School, Saturday November 1st, 2008.
 
Led by Technical Director Derek Broadley, and assisted with the Chairman of the Women’s football Committee, Mark Trott, that also included members of  the committee were able to see firsthand an overall exercise that provided the assessment team a true measure as too where they stand for the future in Women’s football in Bermuda. With that in mind, once all the data has been collected and reviewed the Technical Director along with the Committee will put a plan in place that will allow the program to move forward for the betterment of girl’s football. This being the first time for an assessment to be conducted in Women’s youth football shed much light not just for the Committee but coaches, players and spectators saw a new brand of football being played within the various age groups.
  
In total, three teams took part in the assessment; Somerset CC, Pembroke Hamilton Club (PHC) and Dandy Stars, were presented by as many as (75) players.
