The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) is pleased to announce that its Senior Men's National Team will compete in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Prelims, scheduled to take place during the FIFA Match Window in March 2025.
Bermuda secured its spot in the Prelims following the conclusion of the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League. The team will face Honduras in a home-and-away series, with the winner advancing to the prestigious Gold Cup Group Stage. The official matchup was determined by Concacaf rankings as of November 20, 2024.

The BFA is excited about the opportunity to compete in the Gold Cup Prelims and is confident in the team's ability to represent Bermuda with pride and determination. Head Coach, Michael Findlay commented, "Bermuda's qualification for the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup preliminary round against Honduras is a significant achievement. While most Concacaf teams are inactive this March, Bermuda is competing in meaningful matches, demonstrating progress. We recognize the challenge of facing the 7th-ranked team in Concacaf, an opponent we have encountered before. However, we are excited about the opportunity and our players are motivated to compete at this high level. These matches are crucial for gaining experience and developing our program towards our goal of becoming a top 15 Concacaf nation. We aim to make such opportunities a regular occurrence, not a one-off.”
The 18th edition of the Concacaf Gold Cup will be held from June 14 to July 6, 2025, across 14 stadiums in 11 metropolitan areas of the United States and Canada. Nine teams have already qualified for the Group Stage: Canada, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Saudi Arabia (guest team), and the United States. The seven winners of the Prelims will join these nations in the quest for the Gold Cup title.
