The Bermuda Football Association would like to announce that the Senior Men’s National Team (SMNT) will be preparing for their Concacaf FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers. The Bermuda National Team will be attending a training camp at the IMG Academy Complex from Tuesday, March 2nd, until Monday, March 8th. The Bahamas National Football Team will be joining the SMNT to play two training matches on March 5th, and 7th.
“We are happy that we could arrange the training camp for the team to enable them to get valuable match minutes,” said the BFA President, Mark Wade. “The tour also represents an opportunity to fully exercise the enhanced travel protocols required due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety of our players and staff has been at the forefront of our planning. We are grateful for the support and guidance of the Ministry of Youth Culture and the Department of Health who assisted in establishing travel protocols that will be used throughout the World Cup 2022 qualifying campaign.”
