Bermuda Under-17 Women's Team Group Determined in Concacaf Draw

February 25, 2025

The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) acknowledges the results of the official draw for the Final Round of the 2025 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 (U-17) Qualifiers, which will see Bermuda compete in Group A alongside Mexico, Haiti, and Costa Rica. The competition, crucial for qualifying for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2025, will be held from March 31 to April 6, 2025.

The draw, conducted by Concacaf, placed Bermuda, one of the two best second-place finishers from Round One, in a challenging group hosted by Mexico. The other groups are:

  • Group B: Canada, Puerto Rico, Panama, Nicaragua (hosted by Panama)
  • Group C: United States, El Salvador, Honduras, Trinidad & Tobago (hosted by Trinidad & Tobago)

The BFA recognizes the strength of their group opponents. Mexico, the host nation, will have the advantage of playing on home soil, while Haiti and Costa Rica are also formidable contenders. The team is committed to intensive preparation in the lead-up to the tournament.

The stakes are high, with only four spots available for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2025. The group winners and the best second-place finisher will secure their place in the global competition.

The expanded FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2025 will feature 24 national teams and take place in Morocco from October 17 to November 8, 2025.
