The Bermuda National Team is looking to use the momentum from their result against Aruba in March for their upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches in June against Suriname and the Cayman Islands.
The BFA had decided to play their home match against Aruba at the IMG Academy Complex in Bradenton, Florida. The switch in venue minimized travel fatigue, and possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus, as well as any health restrictions that may have been imposed on the Bermuda National Team and opponents if they travel back to Bermuda following their match versus Canada which was played in Orlando, Florida prior to the match versus Aruba. Due to the current health uncertainties with the COVID-19 virus, the Association has decided once again to play its World Cup Qualifying match versus the Cayman Islands on Tuesday, June 8th at the IMG Complex in Bradenton, Florida.
Details of the extended coverage of the matches against Suriname scheduled for Friday, June 4th, and the Cayman Islands will be through the BFA’s social media channels and website.
